Over Medium

I'm not an egg fan. I developed a food aversion to egg when I was young. The taste of egg is associated with me having a stomach ache. I'm sure it's psychological because I don't get stomach ache when I can't taste the egg. Hence I'm not very skill at egg cooking since I don't eat them (I can cook scramble eggs and boil them :)). My close friend/brother was coming back from Ohio so I thought I should make him breakfast -- how does he like his eggs? Over medium. I think sunny side up would of made my life a lot easier. I nailed it though! I made a perfect over medium egg on my second try. I tried it again earlier tonight but that just gave me a boiled yolk. It would have been a perfect one too if I just took it off the pan after I turned off the stove. Sigh, note to self: sizzling pan can turn your yolk into boiled yolk.

Be Satisfied

My internship has taught me many things. I'll admit that my internship has caused me to change but nothing drastic (or at least that's my opinion). My coworkers are wonderful and I've made great friends in a span of 2 months. I'm slowly beginning to be content with what I have. I don't want to compare my summer with someone's else. If I'm satisfied with how my summer turned out (without comparison) then I shouldn't feel that it wasn't good enough compared to someone's else summer.

Overview of Summer

I have a drafted post regarding my one week of summer before the start of my internship but I failed to finish writing it. There is no excuse on why I shouldn't I have it done. Hopefully I'll start blogging more after today. I need to work on my writing skills (seriously).

My summer has been pretty adventurous for me, a person who lives quite a mundane life. The problem with me is that I enjoy knowing how my days will turn out (I somewhat enjoy routines) but I also like to have a little adventure in between too. I just want everything.

So far my summer has mainly been about my internship. I enjoy working in a corporation, the corporate world is different from what I have expected. Sometime I would hang out with my sister (she's off to summer school right now -- so no hanging out until she's back in the OC) after work. Most of my weekend event is with Aaron. I adore that boy :) We went to the OCGP event and took loads of pictures. I got take a picture with a SWAT team officer while holding a gun! I even took a picture with a fire dog. We also went to the Discovery Science Center recently. The museum is honestly meant for young children but I enjoyed it. The center has a nail bed and I got to lay on it and survived! Since we went during their promotional period, we got free tickets to the Santa Ana Zoo and OC Zoo. I think the promotion ends on Sept 3?

Righting the Wrongs

People make mistakes everyday. I, myself, makes countless mistakes everyday. Sometimes I look back upon them and wish I had done something different. Life would be different if I had a made a different choice. But I can't. I have to live with what I've done and just righting the wrongs by learning from my error.

Weekend Recap

I've been shopping for work clothes recently since I'll be starting my internship one week after school ends. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. This weekend I went shoe shopping with my mother. I bought myself these neutral beige heels (Unitty) by Steve Madden, they are so cute and comfortable ! :)

Game Theory Midterm A

Fifty minutes to do a game theory midterm is not enough. I know which problem I missed and which I just wrote a probable answer for so I can receive partial credit and move on to the other problems. Sigh, I hope that I will ace part two on Wednesday. I feel stressed now because I have a cognitive science midterm to study for but I cannot get over how difficult Wednesday midterm will be.

Random

Life is fleeting. I'm tired, mentally speaking. I can't wait until finals come around because then summer would start right after.

I know that I haven't been blogging here since last year. The blog was originally created so that can post reviews of dramas I have watched but I haven't "watched" any drama all the way through to actually give a fair review. I've been focusing on school because I'm not doing as well as I have hoped in my Economic courses. I should blog more often though since I need to improve my writing skills before I have to take my upper division writing class.
